Full Text
Article 1 (Application)
This License applies when a user (the "Buyer") purchases or acquires for free content on the Briko Marketplace (the "Marketplace"). The Buyer agrees to this License by paying for content or acquiring free content.
Paid content on the Marketplace is content that creators have entrusted to us for sale, and Redbrick Limited (the "Company"), as the seller, grants the Buyer a licence under the rights it has received from the creator. Free content is licensed on the same terms.
Article 2 (What You Are Buying)
What the Buyer acquires is not ownership of the content but a right to use it under this License. Copyright in the content remains with the creator (or its rights holder).
Article 3 (Scope of the License)
The Company grants the Buyer the following rights. This licence is worldwide, without time limit, non-exclusive, free of additional charge, and may not be transferred to anyone else.
To copy, display, perform, modify, and adapt the content, and combine it with other content, to make a Project. A "Project" means any work made using the content, such as a game, world, app, video, image, printed material, or advertisement.
To sell, distribute, publish, and broadcast the Project for personal or commercial purposes, either directly or through a distributor or publisher.
To show the content as it appears in the Project in materials promoting the Project.
To use the content not only in Briko but also in other tools, engines, and platforms.
Article 4 (Sharing)
The Buyer may share the content with employees, contractors, and collaborators who are making a Project with the Buyer, only to the extent needed to make that Project (including in a private repository).
Those people may not redistribute the content and must delete it once their work on the Project is done. The Buyer is responsible for any violation by them.
When distributing a Project, the Buyer must ensure that end users cannot extract and use the content outside the Project (for example, by including it in an executable or build).
Article 5 (Prohibitions)
The Buyer may not:
Sell, rent, or give away the content itself on a standalone basis. The Project must add value beyond the content, and the content must not be the main subject of the Project.
Allow others to take the content and use it in their own works. For example: uploading the content to asset packs, templates, or 3D model sharing sites, or distributing it inside editing tools that can export it.
Remove or alter any copyright notice or identifying information included in the content.
Use the content in a way that violates the law or infringes the rights of others.
Use the content as a trademark or logo, or register trademark or design rights in the content.
Article 6 (Re-downloading)
The Buyer may re-download purchased content from their Marketplace library. However, content may become unavailable if it is taken down due to rights infringement, a legal violation, a creator's breach of terms, or similar reasons, so we recommend keeping your own copy of purchased files. If a creator stops selling the content, licences already granted remain in effect.
Article 7 (Termination of the License)
If an order is refunded, or its payment is cancelled or charged back, the licence for every content item in that order ends. The Buyer may no longer use that content and must delete any copies of the files, and the Company revokes the download and usage rights.
If the Buyer violates this License, the Company may terminate the licence.
Projects already distributed before the licence ends may continue to be distributed, except in the case of paragraph 1 of this Article.
Article 8 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
Content is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, the Company does not warrant that content is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors. If content differs from its description on the detail screen, you may request a refund under the Refund Policy.
The Company reviews all content before publication, but cannot fully guarantee that content uploaded by creators does not infringe the rights of third parties. If an infringement is confirmed, the Company takes the content down and notifies the Buyer.
Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Company's liability is limited to the amount the Buyer paid for the content concerned.
Article 9 (Changes to the License)
Even if the Company changes this License, content already purchased or acquired remains under the License in effect at that time. A changed License applies to purchases made after the change.
Article 10 (Governing Law)
This License is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to this License are resolved in the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
